Oil&Steel closes 2021 by signing an agreement for a tender of over 200 units. The client, a major utility company, chose to rely on Oil&Steel aerial platforms for its assistance network.
“We are pleased to announce Oil&Steel secured an unprecedented order, which is the result of a company relaunch plan started a few years ago. The response we are receiving from the market proves it: the company has grown by over 50% over the last two years, despite the period of global uncertainties we are experiencing”, said Fabrizio Girotti, General Manager of Oil&Steel.
“First of all, I would like to thank the employees that form the Oil&Steel family. Passion, competence and experience are the primary drivers behind these exceptional results. My thanks certainly go to the customers who trust us, the suppliers and the network of authorized workshops, for their high-level service”.
The fleet of Oil&Steel truck-mounted aerial platforms consisting of Snake 147 mounted on Ford Ranger (4×4), Scorpion 17E on Iveco ML90 and Scorpion 15E on Iveco ML110W (4×4), will be employed by the client company to carry out ordinary and extraordinary maintenance operations on the entire network of the national territory. The investment will allow operators to act even in the areas of difficult access, ensuring maximum efficiency and safety standards. Delivery of the vehicles will take place starting from the second half of 2022.
Oil&Steel, which has always paid close attention to the training and safety aspects of those who work on the platforms, with this agreement not only commit to supply machines with the highest quality standard, but also to provide an in-depth theoretical and practical training to the operators. The training courses will be held at the brand-new Oil&Steel Academy, in San Cesario sul Panaro, and at the client’s premises.
Made in Italy design and production, attention to detail and an excellent after-sales service: these are the ingredients of Oil&Steel’s success. We work with dedication every day to bring innovative, easy to use, safe aerial platforms to the market.
